{Sneak Peek!} Portrait photo shoot with Clarinda

It was 4C when I left for this portrait photo shoot one icy August morning… FOUR DEGREES! With a biting wind to add an extra edge to the cold, I was worried that my client, the lovely Clarinda, was going to freeze in this less than hospitable weather. But she braved the cold in her eye-catching dress with a winning smile and posed with such grace and poise. Clarinda, you deserve a medal!

Sneak Peek! The Phipson’s beautiful couple’s photo shoot

Guys! Wow, what a crazy couple of weeks it’s been and I am only getting to share this beautiful couple’s photo shoot with you now. And no, I’m not just saying it’s a beautiful shoot simply because I took the photos (that would be seriously biased!) This was one of those gorgeously scenic Durban winter afternoons. The light was absolutely perfect and we entered into that surreal time of golden hour where the sun’s rays seemed to float, suspended in the air… Just LOOK at how these photos from Jane and Howard’s beautiful couple’s photo shoot came out!

11 Best poses for a photo shoot

Let’s face it: standing in front of a camera lens and trying a set of poses for a photo shoot isn’t something that comes naturally to many of us. It’s pretty hard to look and feel natural when a camera lens is pointed in your direction. You suddenly feel self-conscious and you’re not sure what to do with your hands, how to stand or where to look. Knowing a few poses for a photo shoot can come in handy if you feel a bit awkward staring at a camera lens. You’ll look and feel beautiful and confident, and it will show in your photographs!
